This Item: Old 1930’s Navajo silver and turquoise box-bow squash blossom necklace with hand-made beads. Measurement: Length of beaded necklace (hook to clasp) = 25-1/4. Naja dimensions = 2″ across and 1-7/8″ long (2 including bale). Bead diameter = 5-1/2 to 6mm very small! Drop length (including naja & bale) = 14-1/2. Each blossom plus’bow’ = 1-1/8. The turquoise stones average about 8mm x 4mm. Weight: 91.7 grams. Hallmarks/Stamp : Not stamped or hallmarked. Condition: Very good vintage condition – no damage. Stones are all in good shape & tightly set. Three stones have tight hairlines as can be seen in a couple of photos. Comments: The silver beads are hand-made rather than bench beads, and the whole necklace is strung on fine fox-tail cable. Well matched turquoise with good color (The stones are not treated or stabilized). In photo seven, I show three squash blossom necklaces I currently have listed.
