For your consideration is this beautiful rendition of a Kirk Smith style multi-gems concho belt by Navajo artisans Garrison Boyd and Joey McCray. Kirk Smith (d-2012) was a famous Navajo artisan who was well known for his exquisite creations of concho belts and jewelry using genuine gemstones and old style techniques. This gorgeous old pawn style concho belt features ten conchos and a belt buckle handcrafted from hand stamped sterling silver. They were set with colorful hand cut cabs of various gemstones around the edges. A fabulous blue cab of Kingman turquoise was set in each center. The belt buckle features exquisite hand stamped Southwestern designs and also set with a ring of various gemstones. The conchos measure approx 2 1/2″ x 2 7/8″ and are each backed by leather backing. The belt buckle measures about 3″ x 4 1/2″ with a 1 1/2 keeper. Given an antique finish for the old pawn look. These come on a 1″ x 48″ black leather belt. The buckle is stamped Sterling, Handmade and hallmarked by the Navajo silversmith with shop hallmark. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
