Domestic Buffalo Bubalus bubalis horns are used to make this breastplate as they are a NON-endangered species of buffalo, Non endangered Mule deer. Odocoileus hemionus was used to make the leather for this piece. German tanned buckskin for a braintan look and feel. Each row is strung on a single strand so if it ever breaks you will only have to fix one or two rows, unlike other sellers on here who use one piece of string for the entire breastplate…. This should last you many many years. I used half a deer hide on the fringe and straps so this is super thick when it comes to the leather fringe. Each strip of fringe is 10 long alone PER strand. 12×19.5 NOT including fringe. The size of the bone part of this item can be seen with the ruler next to it 44 rows of Buffalo bone and heavy authentic brass beads. All brass and bone and NO plastic. This is an XXL breastplate. THIS IS ALL REAL buffalo BONE it weighs approx 2lbs and is HEAVY real brass beads and double straps to help hold the weight. Side straps to go around your waist. Sterling Silver 925 Concho Belt Signed IHMJ. The center of the ponchos may be mother of pearl but it has quite a pink tone to it any way very beautiful. There are 17 conchos that are each about 1 3/8 inches by about 7/8 inches and the total length is about 38 inches and a total gram weight of about 130 grams. Really an example of a good artisan’s achievement. This is a tribal bear-clan fetish necklace crafted using snow white quartz depicting multiples of the bear with complete uniformity and an eye for total absence of color or foreign inclusions. Even the heishe is totally uniform and pristine. There are 19 bears measuring approx. 7/8″ x 1/2″ and a central bear pendant approx. 1 1/2″ x 7/8″. In total the necklace including pendant is approx.
