For your consideration is this absolutely sensational handcrafted sterling silver feathers and Arizona Kingman turquoise Y necklace by Navajo artisan Jimmy Emerson. Jimmy has been creating exquisite pieces of jewelry art for over 40 years and this is a prime example of his work. This gorgeous necklace features two large sterling silver feathers and a center medallion holding two hand cut cabs of top grade Arizona Kingman turquoise in sterling sawtooth bezels, surrounded by hand twisted sterling rope and cradled by ornate silverwork. Two smaller sterling silver feather dangles below. The two sterling feather side pieces are joined to a single strand of 6mm sterling bench beads. The two side feathers measure approx 1″ x 2 1/4″, the centerpiece measures 1 1/4″ x 1 3/4″, the two feather dangles are 1 1/8″ and 1 1/2″, and the medallion measures a total of 3 1/4 long from top to bottom of feathers. The Y-necklace measures approx 18″ long with a 4″ extension chain for overall length of about 22. Closes with sterling lobster claw clasp. Stamped Sterling and hallmarked.
