Native American Stone Axe Hatchet Tomahawk. I dont know anything about this. Therefore Ive listed it as non-native American crafts, but I dont know if its a vintage modern piece or antique genuine Native American axe. The club measures about 15 1/2 inches long and the stone head is a little less than 3 3/4 inches long, about 2 3/4 inches wide and a little more than 1 inch thick. It has a stone club/axe head attached to a stick by what appears to be leather and then it wraps around the stick, completely encasing it. There are also 2 sections of small black, red and white beads. It also seems that someone has put some sort of varnish or perhaps clear paint over the leather. There looks to be a hardened adhesive underneath the leather strap holding the head and the beads appear to be set into it as well. It is very solid and the head is firmly attached, there is no play or wiggle. The leather and beads are also tight, theres no looseness. It is certainly vintage but whether its a genuine Native American piece I dont know.
