As you can see from the pics, this is one very HOLEY blanket. Family lore is it’s been in my family since the early 20th century, acquired by a great, great uncle who owned a music store in Albuquerque, NM. It’s been in this condition more or less since I first laid eyes on it in the middle 1950’s. Approx 54″x82″ although somewhat irregular and not easily measured. Lots of wear, holes and some staining as you can see. Tried to give an overall representation in the pics, but limited to 12 pics… Pure hand spun, hand dyed and hand woven. All wool and very heavy for its size. Not sure of age, but it’s OLD. The item “Native American Indian Antique Holey Wool Blanket Hand Made” is in sale since Saturday, February 10, 2018.
