This beautiful Navajo Rug came into our home as the result of a trade of beadwork for this Navajo Rug by my husband a Kruzitrin Indian, son of the man who wrote the book on the Aleut Tribes that is used in Universities. The fragrance and texture transports you back to the time and hands of its creation. The only use it has had is to display this magnificient artwork. The trade occurred in the 1970’s and the tribal traders stated that it is hand made vegetable dyes and made around 1904. It is a glorious treasure for any home and carries with it the love and Spirituality of the woman who made it. This rug was appraised by Garland Rugs Sedona AZ.
