Vintage 70s Navajo SSilver CANDELARIA Turquoise Necklace Ring Native Made in USA. For y our consideration is this simply sensational handcrafted vintage sterling silver and Candelaria necklace ring set by Navajo artisan Alice Platero , circa 1970s. Candelaria turquoise is very rare to find and highly collectible. This gor geous set features a necklace of he avy gauge sterling silver set with hand cut cabs of rare Candelaria turquoise in three squash blossom designs. Handma de sterling silver leaves and sterling dots provide beautiful embellish ments as well as join the pieces together. These are connected to sterling silver link chains to complete the necklace. The centerpiece measures approx 1″ wide x 2 3/4″ long, the side pieces are about 1″ x 5/8″ and the necklace measures approx 18 long. Closes with hook clasp. The matching ring features a tear drop shaped Candelaria cab measuring about 5/8″ x 1 1/8″ on a solid sterling silver ring shank in size 8. We can size up to a 10 for you at no charge. Santo Domingo Sea Foam Turquoise Nuggets Heishi Necklace Native Made in USA. For your consideration is this sensational handcrafted and hand strung Sea Foam turquoise Penn Shell Heishi four strand necklace by Santo Domingo artisan Kathleen Sanchez. This gorgeous necklace features one strand of high grade vintage Sea Foam turquoise nuggets, mined from the 1960s, and three strands of handmade penn shell heishi beads. The Sea Foam turquoise nuggets vary in size from 23mmx14mm to 11mmx14mm and has some fabulous blue hues and dark matrix. Each nugget was hand drilled and separated by hand drilled penn shell heishi beads. They graduate in size from the largest in the center to the smallest at the ends. The other three strands features full strands of all hand drilled 3mmx3mm penn shell heishi beads. All four strands come together at the sterling silver cones at the ends and closes with hook-eye clasp. Hand strung by Santo Domingo artisan Kathleen Sanchez. Vintage Native American Sterling Silver and Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace. This wonderful piece was made by Zuni Nation artist. There appears to be two very small bear claws on the back but not sure if that is a mark. Due to the age of the piece….. I had it professionally restrung to insure stability when proudly worn. LaRose is world renown for her exquisite creations using bold color combinations and genuine gemstones. This fabulous necklace features a heavy gauge sterling silver pendant set with a large purple spiny shell cab in the center and surrounded by hand cut cabs of orange spiny shell. Hand twisted sterling rope and handmade sterling drops provides more elegant accents. NO RESERVE 3 PIECE SANTA CLARA PUEBLO POTS ALL SAME ARTIST. There are 3 pieces in total the larger black and grey pot which measures around 3 inches tall. The pot with the scorpion on it is around 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 as the 3rd one with the chicken is around 2×2 perhaps a little larger as you can see compared with the other 2 pots. All 3 pots were beautifully designed and etched by an artist “RT”which are the initials carved into the bottom of each pot. Also on the bottom of each pot is a number which from what I have learned stands for the date the pot was made. One has 691 carved in the bottom with the artists initials, which stands for the 6th month and 1991. Same for the other 2 just different numbers. I did some research to find an artist Ray Tafoya and was able to go through and see he has some similar work to these pieces. Love just looking at them as they are museum quality. All the featured etchings the chicken, scorpion, beautiful native American designs. All 3 have been displayed in a glass display case with other pottery and native American art so all 3 pieces are as perfect as they come. Elliot Qualo was the son of Myra Qualo, born sometime in the 1930s, but did not start producing jewelry until about 1960. His creations were always award winning pieces and highly coveted by collectors all over the world. He produced from 1960 until about the late 1970s, upon his passing.
