The feather symbolizes trust, honor, strength, wisdom, power, freedom and many more things. The generalized meaning of feathers signified honor & connected the owner with the Creator and the bird the feathers came from. When a feather falls to earth, it carries all of the energy of its former attachment on a bird to a living being. Feathers are perceived as gifts from the sky, the sea and the trees. Feathers arrive unexpectedly, but not without purpose. Birds were revered as bringers of messages and symbols of change often and their feathers have many spiritual, ceremonial & ritual uses. Decorated feathers were sometimes attached to sacred pipes or prayer sticks. In the ancient culture and traditions of Native Americans the meaning of feathers are tied to the belief that birds, as spirit guides, walk through different stages of life with a person, teaching and guiding them, and in some instances protecting them. Native American Smudging Feathers are a collectible. They need to be taken special care of as they are passed to us from the Great Spirit. Smudging: The smudging ceremony is a custom of Native Americans. For Smudging is a way to create a cleansing smoke bath that is used to purify the body, aura, energy, ceremonial/ritual space or any other space and personal articles. Start the day by offering tobacco, praying for a good day and to ask for guidance in your life. I strive for 100%Satisfaction. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
