This is definately a conversation piece. This is a One Of A Kind piece of Art and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity C. Designed and Made by Opichi (Tribal Elder) Measures: 14 ” with 33″ Height (including strap & Fringe) Please see pictures. A Feather isn’t just something that falls out of a bird, it means much more. The feather symbolizes trust, honor, strength, wisdom, power, freedom and many more things. The generalized meaning of feathers signified honor & connected the owner with the Creator and the bird the feathers came from. When a feather falls to earth, it carries all of the energy of its former attachment on a bird to a living being. Feathers are perceived as gifts from the sky, the sea and the trees. Feathers arrive unexpectedly, but not without purpose. Birds were revered as bringers of messages and symbols of change often and their feathers have many spiritual, ceremonial & ritual uses. Decorated feathers were sometimes attached to sacred pipes or prayer sticks. In the ancient culture and traditions of Native Americans the meaning of feathers are tied to the belief that birds, as spirit guides, walk through different stages of life with a person, teaching and guiding them, and in some instances protecting them. Native American Smudging Feathers are a collectible. They need to be taken special care of as they are passed to us from the Great Spirit. Smudging: The smudging ceremony is a custom of Native Americans. For Smudging is a way to create a cleansing smoke bath that is used to purify the body, aura, energy, ceremonial/ritual space or any other space and personal articles. Start the day by offering tobacco, praying for a good day and to ask for guidance in your life. I strive for 100%Satisfaction. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Native American Hand Made Bald Eagle Medicine Feather Prayer Smudge Fan
Photo is not actual fan received just for viewing purposes. CUSTOM HANDMADE 5 Feathered Fan. Bald Eagle ALSO NOW MADE Shaman Medicine Feather Fan w/replicated SALT & PEPPER BALD EAGLE FEATHERS Materials: Spiritually Hand Made, Culturally Crafted, Sinew, Brain Tanned, replica, 5 Bald Eagle Salt & Pepper Feathers, Sacred Cedar Wood Handle, Elk Hide, , Deer Lace. The Native American Indians saw the Eagle as a symbol for great strength, leadership and vision. As if to seemingly mirror this, the eagle has been used as a’banner’ by many of the great empires throughout history, from Babylon to Egypt, through to Rome and even the United States. In early Christianity the eagle was seen as a symbol of hope and strength, representing salvation. The eagle appears twice in the book of Revelation; both times in a context that suggests it is on the side of God. In Islam, the eagle represents warlike ferocity, nobility and dominion. Symbolism and Power The eagle is the chief over all the winged creatures. Eagle conveys the powers and messages of the spirit; it is man’s connection to the divine because it flies higher than any other bird. The eagle brings the message of renewed life because it is associated with the east winds – the direction of spring, dawn and rebirth. Overview The EAGLE: The eagle is a symbol of power, healing and wisdom. The eagle represents enlightenment reached through inner work, understanding and reclaiming our personal power. Tenacity, clear vision and patience, living in balance with Spirit and Earth. Eagle connects one with Great Spirit, the Great Mystery, opening the soul to greater healing. It tells you that the universe is giving you the opportunity to fly above your life’s worldly levels, or above the shadow of past realities, granting yourself permission to be free in order to reach all the joy that your heart desires and Spirit requires. The Lesson Bald Eagle Profile:: When Eagle appears to you it means that you are being put on notice. Eagle totems appear to inspire (push) you to reach higher and become more than you think you are capable of. They tell you to be courageous and really stretch your limits and see what you can do. They bring a sense of courage and a desire to explore and grow. To dream of a flying eagle or one who is perched high signifies good fortune or victory coming your way. If it scares you or attacks you it means there are some self-imposed limitations you need to push through. The lesson of the eagle is to take a look from where it sees. You must have the courage to relinquish stale and comfortable habits and beliefs to soar into unknown realms and new realities – continually expanding your view. Now is the time to take full responsibility for your life and be prepared for instant destiny. As your spiritual awareness increases, the positive and negative ramifications will become more immediate and have greater force. Ask for eagle help when: The details of day-to-day living have you feeling weighed down and you have lost sight of the larger perspective. You are faced with a number of tough choices regarding work, relationships or life transitions. You’re not sure how to integrate recent spiritual insights and revelations into your day-to-day life. You feel you are expending way too much energy to get the job done. Access eagle’s power by Being patient. Know that this animal spirit guide does not come easily or immediately. Writing down judgments you have about others and noting how these are projections of similar aspects or traits you deny are part of yourself. Each evening, recording a list of 10 things for which you are grateful that happened that day. Do this every night for at least 21 days. Go to an area where you can observe all that is below – the top of a tall building, a hilltop – and take in as much as you can. Take several slow, deep breaths as you do. Materials: Culturally crafted Sinew, Brain Tanned, 5 Bald Eagle Salt & Pepper Feathers, replica feathers, length varies 9″ -12″ Eagle Feather, Sacred Cedar Wood Handle, Smoked Elk Hide, , Deer Lace Spiritually Hand Made. Handmade item American Made Handmade no two are exactly alike hide shades and lace color may vary. Materials: Culturally Crafted, Sinew, Brain Tanned, replica feathers, length varies 12 plus and Golden Eagle Feathers, Sacred Cedar Wood Handle, Elk Hide, , Deer Lace Spiritually Hand Made. GOLDEN EAGLE MEDICINE FAN: In Native America, the Eagle is legendary for his great spiritual power. He sees in all directions including past and future. He is the guardian and the carrier of prayers from The People to their Maker; prayers of thanksgiving for what the Creator has given; prayers for Mother Earth, all her beauty, resources, and her goodness; thanks for their own life and the divinity of life in all earth’s living creatures; unselfish prayers for all of earth’s people that they may know the Red Road and keep their footsteps on it. Pictured with the eagle is a Medicine Fan you will see a medicine man sending prayers with smoke and the Eagle. The GOLDEN EAGLE in the Native American tradition is the great warrior and hunter, the most highly respected and scared of birds. Soaring high, he delivers prayers of The People to the Great Spirit, returning with gifts and visions. To many, he is the Keeper of the East from whence comes dawn and illumination of darkness. This Golden Eagle is surrounded by a symbolic Sacred Hoop, decorated with tipis and the moon. The Eagle’s keen eyes see in all directions, knowing both future and past. Smoke from the sage and sweet grass is seen hanging on the hoop, like the Eagle, carries messages to the Creator. Should a feather from the Golden Eagle fall to the earth, it must be claimed by one who is worthy of such a sacred and honored possession, such as a holy man, a warrior or a medicine man who would use it for healing. EAGLE: The eagle is a symbol of power, healing, and wisdom. The eagle represents enlightenment reached through inner work, understanding and reclaiming our personal power. It tells you that the universe is giving you the opportunity to fly above your life’s worldly levels, or above the shadow of past realities, granting yourself permission to be free in order to reach all the joy that your heart desires and Spirit requires. They can see clear through to the core reason for any type of imbalance and then they can spot the proper medicine needed to heal the imbalance.
