Brow band is old wool sinew sewn on buckskin with Antique Brass Buttons. Brain tanned buckskin cap is sinew sewn and well worn please see photos. I was told the Ermine strips were cut from an Early 1900’s Ermine fur Sleigh blanket. The ermine fur is soft and in excellent condition with real ermine tails. Materials that appear to be used. Ermine fur, ermine tails, buckskin, buffalo horn, Old wool, thread, old hide glue. Please study all large photos. I also will consider Layaway plan for you! This Headdress was traded for by my Uncle who was a competitive Tribal dancer. We are an enrolled Native American Indian Family and will be listing items from our family collection. I was told all materials are original circa 1920’s, this headdress is well worn. And the cap is sturdy but might be too fragile for wearing, I would suggest for display. Please contact me with any questions I will answer quickly. The item “Native American Indian made Antique 1920’s Horned Ermine Headdress Warbonnet” is in sale since Monday, June 22, 2020.
