The brow is hand-beaded applique with old seed beads and quill work in traditional colors with feather side drops- not loom beaded. Aged tin cones and all feathers utilize clay paints and is antiqued and adorned with genuine with horse hair, breath feathers, gypsum, and fur on the tips of feathers. The deer skin skull cap is covered with feathers, ermine, and buffalo fur applied. This bonnet is the most realistic I’ve ever seen and it would make a wonderful display item. The headdress was made by artisan’s Sharon and Barry Holton. The item “Native American Headdress Hunkpapa Lakota Sioux Plains Indians- Custom Made” is in sale since Monday, January 7, 2019.
