Antique Wooden Lacrosse Stick – likely from the 1910s or earlier. Completely restored and in pristine condition. Marked Lantry & Delormier “Special” HOGANSBURG NEW YORK. There is a good amount of information available with respect to the Lantry and Delormier families operating stick making and distribution individually in the late 1800s around the time that the Lally Manufacturing company was in business.. But difficult to find info on the combined company. It is my understanding that during the 1880s and through the 1890s P. De Lormier of the St. Reis Reserve supplied sticks to the National Lacrosse Association while the Lantry Brothers operated more as a distributor that were made by Mohawk craftsmen. Total length of the stick is about 47 inches and the widest part of the head is 10-11 inches. Total length of the gut sidewall is about 20 inches.
